CAYCE/REILLY SCHOOL OF MASSAGE® MISSION AND PHILOSOPHY
OUR MISSION
The Cayce/Reilly® School of Massage excels at offering students a holistic learning environment in the growing field of massage therapy. The mission of the school is to offer a quality, comprehensive education in the art and science of massage therapy based on the holistic principles of the Edgar Cayce readings and in the spirit of Dr. Harold J. Reilly.
The school supports the Association for Research and Enlightenment’s (A.R.E.) mission to provide people with tools for holistic health, spiritual growth and personal empowerment. Students at the Cayce/Reilly® School experience the convergence of technical instruction with the concepts of holism, healing and theory of body/mind/spirit. Students receive instruction in anatomy and physiology, as well as advanced massage techniques. Business development and ethics are also an integral part of our curriculum. The knowledge gained from these courses along with hands-on training will make an exceptionally well-trained and successful massage therapist.
OUR PHILOSOPHY
It is our belief that students who attend our school leave with more than technical knowledge of massage therapy. Although technique and the sciences are extremely important in the training of massage therapists, we expect our graduates to gain more than technical knowledge. Our students are encouraged to explore their own inner processes through working with dreams and meditation. The concepts of body/mind/spirit and holism are woven throughout the curriculum.
The staff and faculty of the Cayce/Reilly® School are dedicated to providing a holistic educational environment of the highest standards, preparing students for a rewarding career in massage therapy. We view massage as a valuable and positive force that promotes health and supports personal growth, professional fulfillment, and spiritual awareness in the world. As we continually strive to offer students from every background and life experience the best educational program possible, the Cayce/Reilly® School joins the A.R.E. in its mission to help people change their lives through the concept of holism—unity of mind, body, and spirit—as described in the Edgar Cayce readings.
